Thalipeeth

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup thalipeeth flour (multigrain flour)

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 2 green chilies (chopped)

  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves (chopped)

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

  • Salt to taste

  • Water (as needed)

  • Oil or ghee for cooking

Steps:

  1. In a bowl, mix thalipeeth flour, onion, green chilies, coriander, cumin seeds, and salt.

  2. Add water slowly and knead into a soft dough.

  3. Take a small portion of dough and flatten it into a round shape using your hands on a greased surface.

  4. Heat a pan and place the thalipeeth on it. Add a little oil or ghee around the edges.

  5. Cook on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

  6. Serve hot with butter, curd, or pickle.
